Cruise With Us!
Southport Yacht Club organizes several cruises during the year. We usually cruise to Bald Head Island, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach annually. We also organize cruises to Charleston and Beaufort when interest and weather permit. We make an effort to design cruises that work well for both our power boaters and sailors! Race With Us!
Southport Yacht Club sponsors, every spring and summer, 2 regattas and a PHRF racing series. All regattas and the PHRF series are open to the public and always a lot of fun! And the fun doesn’t stop after the regatta or race is over! We host an after regatta party and end of PHRF series party as well! For more information, click on the button below.
Socialize With Us!
Southport Yacht Club holds many social events throughout the year. From our New Year’s Day Chili Cookoff to our Cinco de Mayo gathering in May. These events are a great time to connect with other members and swap sea stories. We have an active social committee that is always looking for the next big event to plan! Train With Us!
Southport Yacht Club conducts several educational sessions in the winter months. Past sessions have included electrical and diesel engine maintenance, navigation and safety-at-sea. Learn more about our training by clicking on the button below
Give With Us!
Southport Yacht Club firmly believes in giving back to the community. We host an annual Marine Flea Market with all proceeds going to a local charity.
